Ahoy mates!
Seven Seas Water Park & Resort has been the talk of the town since it started operating last October of 2017. It is a Pirate-themed Park in Cagayan de Oro that has world class rides and amenities. This made people from different regions and countries wonder of what it is to really experience the so-called SEVEN SEAS.
Last Saturday May 11, 2019, the General Memberhip Meeting (GMM) of the prestigious group, CDOBLOGGERS of which I am (gratefully) in, was held in Seven Seas. I was so excited. It was my second time. My first was when we were invited by Ms. Kc Curay and Sir Alvin Curay after the successful CDOBLOGCON 2019 event ( this deserves another blogpost, btw, i was just caught up with busy schedules. huhu )
First in our agenda was the meeting with the resort's head, Sir Elipe Paras. He talked about the resort, how it has been a sustainable tourist destination, their love for their client and some exciting news and updates of the resort.

LOCATION
Seven Seas Waterpark is situated in Opol, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. It's near Bulua Terminal and Opol Diversion Road. From Laguindingan Airport, you can ride any Van for hire, Shuttle (Magnum, etc.), Grab Car or taxi. Just tell them you're heading to Seven Seas. See map below.
WATERPARK
After the meeting, we were guided by sir AJ around the park. That was utmost 1:30 pm under the scorching heat of the sun.
CAPTAIN KIDD'S HIDEOUT
For the kids and kids at heart who just want a safe and relaxing dip in a shallow pool where a basin of water cascades once in a while.
PIRA-CHUTE
The green tunnel. An open spiral slide
ESCAPE TUNNEL
The pink and blue enclosed dark tunnel.
RIPTIDE REEF
The yellow and orange tunnel. It is a boomerang slide that allows two (2) riders in a raft. This gives you a roller coaster feels as it slides down and slips and turns. This is one of my favorite rides.
SHIPWRECK ISLAND
According to sir AJ, it serves as the stage whenever there are programs or parties.
At the back portion, there's this part that's a "grand canyon" feels, nice for photo ops too. One of our members, Ms. Phoebe, strike a pose right away.
BUCANEER BAY
One of the Philippines largest dual wave pool.
MIGHTY MAUI RIVER
The longest lazy river, that gives a relaxing feels while floating. Flowing through islands and showers of water and hanging bridges. This is my favorite chill ride.
CYCLONE
Shoutout to Ms. Ireene and Ms. Johanns for their photos and videos. Thank you so much.
I will definitely come back to conquer the PLANK DROP and also
to experience the NIGHT SWIMMING here.
It is the largest water slide in the Philippines. A cone-like structure, with a raft that allows four (4) persons to be dropped in a 6 storey tube. This is one of the extreme rides I always wanna try over and over again.
PLANK DROP, CUTLASS & CANNON BALL RUN
Plank drop - The most extreme of all the rides. It is a vertical aqua loop water slide
Cutlass - A linear slide that has two points free fall
Cannon Ball Run - One of the country's highest and fastest open slide
Pacific Racer - three tube speed slide that uses special rubber mats
HERE ARE SOME OF THE MAIN ATTRACTIONS:

RATES
“Swashbuckler’s Hut” - Airconditioned large hut good for 50 pax for companies and group meeting. This is by the way where we stayed and ate great food prepared by the staff before and after all the extreme rides.
EXPERIENCE
I tried the MIGHTY MAUI RIVER during my first time here with ses Pearly Jane Cabudoy where we contemplated and chill after the CDOBLOGCON 2019 event. Also, I shared this cyclone extreme experience first with her where I shouted my lungs out.
My ses was not into extreme this time. So I find myself joining with the BFF Ms. Irene Dayo and Ms. Johanns Cordita , and ofcourse with the vloggies Karl Butaslac. I was chill this time, just smiling at their every reaction and savoring the extreme feeling.
We tried the CYCLONE (twice), RIPTIDE REEF (twice). Karl made me try the CANNON BALL RUN, CUTLASS and lastly the most extreme one the PLANK DROP. All of us tried but only Karl succeeded to the last point. Wooh! What a fulfillment.
Sadly, the three of us girls were dragged by the water current back to the first tunnel point . However, the important thing is that we tried and experienced.
What an extreme and fun-filled summer i had this year. Thank you Lord.
All thanks to SEVEN SEAS WATERPARK AND RESORT especially Sir Elipe Paras and CDOBLOGGERS headed by our beautiful and kind President Ms. Ruby Caberte for making this summer a dream-come-true.
to experience the NIGHT SWIMMING here.
You have an extreme experience here in Seven Seas too? I'd love to hear from you. Drop some comments, ayt? Ahoy!
