| POWERPUFF AND THE ANGELS |
This is my Powerpuff and the Angels Family. We created the group when we were in College.July 21st is our day. We celebrate it yearly. Until now they remain in my heart. Though some members paved their way out of the country, still we managed to keep our friendship. And we will always be there for each other.
I would like to share an article written by Arjey Yap (member of the group, who is now residing in Singapore). It was written for the celebration of our 7th Anniversary.

I can still remember the days when we consider ourselves as individuals not as a group. We all have different lives by then. But that’s normal…
First day of school isn’t really bad. Walking around the campus (alone) and searching for those rooms and building numbers is just like hunting for fishes in the forest. Seems easy but it isn’t.
I can still remember Charlotte asking me with her signature “pa-cute” intonation during a class in Automation Lab. She then asked me, “Excuse me, CS ka or IS?” At the top of my mind I said, “Dayon?” What’s the sense of asking me? All I know is that I’m here since it is part of my course.
Kapoy man sige ug English guys, so mag.binisaya sa ko ha? Hahaha. Kinsa man sa inyo ang dili makalimot sa college hymn? Ma-remember pajud nako si Magz na nagkanta ug college hymn kay siya ra man ang kabalo. “Hail to thee, Dear Alma Mater”. Sa English class pa gani to nato gikanta..hahaha..
Di sad nako malimtan katong green-shed near sa automation lab.. After lunch, didto dayon tambay. Istorya ug mga binuang, binakak ug gugma. Gugma? Hmmmm…hahahaha
But kinsa man jud nagsugod ani nga grupo? Sa akoa ma-remember, gamay lang man mi sa una. Magz, Czernee, Kathy, Kokong, Butan, Charlotte, Emy, Jecai, ug si Piscos. Mao jud na ang original. So, kani sa sila ang bida karon..hahaha..
Close nako first si Czernee. then naa dayon tung plano nila na di mi ipag-close. Sa m.remember nako, di ganahan sila Kathy, Charlotte ug Jecai kay Czernee at first..haha.. Tua, naa na nuon nahitabo. Di bah Jecai?.hahaha.. and the rest is history.. di nata mghisgut ana.. kai di na pwede hisgutan..
Kinsa di makalimot atong gisapot ko kai naa nangopya ug assignment sa math, then wala ng.share sa iyaha answer?.hahaha .. naunsa man intawon to oi.. grabeh kau iya kopya sa akoa kay wala xa answer sa uban, then wala man lang ng.share sa usa ka item na wla koi answer..hahaha.. pero kalimtan na nato to.. n.realize nato niya na bad to xa..haha
Ug na.uso ang tronix..hahaha.. group picture for only 35 pesos?. Naa pko copy ato..hahahaha…
Later daun, ni.join si adelfa.. g.welcome xa kai alone naman xa..hahaha.. bitaw, ng.transfer man si joyjoy na close niya.. kinsa man pud sa inyo ang di kalimot na gihilak xa kay g.prangkahan ni Sandra?.haha.. kaluoy niya oi..hehehe…
First na laag is sa balay nila Kathy.. p.picture then gpa.print.. lingaw kau ang result kai black and white then medyo nadaot ang mga dagway.. but lingaw japon.. naa mura ug iring.. naay wlai mata.. ug uban pa…hahahaha
Lingaw kau ang first year sa barkada.. dghan laag, dghan kaon.. dghan kalingawan..
Then second year na.. ang section C ndugangan sa section D.. ug giabot daun si tina.. outcast naman xa sa iyaha grupo.. gkuha, g.adopt ug gpakaon sa barkada..hahahaha… mura man ug orphanage ang barkada.. kung kinsa ang mwalaan ug barkada, welcome mu.join sa amoa.. ug ngka.close na ang tanan.. medyo dghan-dghan na and gkalingaw na ang barkada.. kai dghan man kau ta, galisod ta ug group especially sa mga group projects.. so mao nang naa ang powerpuff with mojojojo ug angels…
Kung lingaw ang first year, mas nalingaw ko sa second year.. dghan na tabi, chika, ug libak diri, libak didto.. naa na gtambay sa simlab…hahaha.. di pud nako malimtan ang moment ni emay wyl ngklase ta sa Rizal..hahaha… kalimot namo kung unsa to?. Kato btaw ana xa na, “mam, di ko kaginhawa” then ang tubag daun ni mam cruz kai, “ginhawa ug lahom dai”..hahahaha
Bawal daw mg.uyab sa barkada.. pero exempted mi ato ni jecai..hahah.. si Kathy kai nka.like kai kokong.. aminin..hahaha… pero ang greatest achievement ato na year kai sila Magz ug Ivan.. ang no-boy-friend-since-birth kai nka.uyab na..hahaha.. kinsa nanguyab gani ato Magz?.hehehe.. Ug si Ivan, n.part na sa group.. by default naman na nga ang uyab, member na diritso.. Ug nadugangan pa jud ni Olga.. all star cast na..hahaha
Nalingaw japon ko sa laag nato sa opol with tina’s family.. twas Ivan and Charlotte’s bday celebration..gusto muuban ang ka.churva ni Charlotte ato nga tym pero dili ipauban..haha.. ang suka moment ni butan wyl ngkanta.. eew…hahaha..
Dghan nsad ta naagian na overnight.. ila Kathy, or Tina.. mao raman na pirme ato adtoan.. kinsa dili makalimot sa pan na nahulog, gbutang balik then g,shake para dili mhibaw.an asa ato ang nahulog na pan..hahaha… kinsa di makalimot sa “patol” moment ni adelfa?.hahaha…
Third year na, lisod na ang mga lessons.. grabeh njud ang mga projects, assignments ug exams… …hahaha.. pero nakapasar man japon..hahaha..
Salamat pud di sa nu pg,surprise nako during my 20th bday.. salamat sa cake, ug sa the little prince na book… gpahilak ko ninu ato..hahaha
Pgka.fourth year, medyo nagkagubot gamai.. gamai lang man nuon pero na.ok raman sad… naa na lain2 na grupo sa thesis.. ang mga grupo, wa ngkasinabot… naa mga issues.. dba tin?.hahaha… pero bsag ngkagubot na, ngkahiusa man japon ta after…
7 years nata guys.. 7 years of solid friendship… happy ko na part ko ani na group.. dghan kau ng.ingon na the best atoa grupo.. and I admit, it’s true.. though we are not the same as before, we all know that we still have each other.. distance doesn’t matter.. as long as we keep each other in our hearts, distance is just a word..
I may not be with you today, but deep in my heart I know that someday, somehow, we’ll all gonna see each other and celebrate the birth of our friendship.. not today, but soon…
Happy 7th year anniversary guys.. may we all continue to love and cherish each other, for better or for worse…
Friendship knows no boundaries indeed. :)
