It has been a tradition for Ayala Malls to host an Arts Event come February since it is Arts Month. And for this year the theme is #ArtTents2020.
My heart skipped a bit when I received an email invitation from Centrio Ayala with the caption Art Tents 2020. Of course, for the reason that I am fascinated with ARTS. It is my stress reliever and it gives me unfathomable feel as I stand in awe of every artwork, especially the one made by the Greatest Artist that is God Himself.
So what really is Art Tents?
It's a 5-day event where painters,animators, designers, poets, writers, performers and visual artists to share their work and expertise and where mall-goers indulge in various artistic experiences. This year's event will also aim to raise funds for a tent city in Kidapawan.
It runs from February 7-12, 2020 at the Activity Center, Centrio Ayala Mall, Cagayan de Oro City. During the 5-day event, there will be booth workshops, maker’s market, film marathon, indie music, public art and live mural painting. The best artists/resource speakers who are experienced in both local and international will be there. The power list are ~Unchalee Anantawat, Leeroy New, Anjo Bolarda, Karl Adrian Aguro, Chingkee Te-Motoomull, Chris Gomez, Ivan Macarambon, Zola Gonzalez-Macarambon, Patrick Gabutina. Among the exhibitors and workshop resources are Lei and Lyle, NAGMAC, Hands At Work, Indie CDO, CDO Film Society, Bowerbird, Anjo Bolardo, Write Script, D Vision, Oro Arts Guild, Bam Garibay, Artsada and Dan + Deva.
